About New India Assurance (NIA) Recruitment 2014:

The New India Assurance Company Ltd., a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company & wholly owned by Government of India, invites applications for recruitment of 509 (Five Hundred Nine) Officers in Scale I cadre from open market. The Recruitment of Administrative Officers in NIA will be carry out by IBPS via online examination. Candidates from finance, engineering, law graduates can apply for this post. The examination will be conducted online in venues across India given in the respective call letters.

Salary: Rs.36,000/- p.m. (Appx)

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

1. Finance : Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)/ MBA FINANCE* / B.COM / M.COM
2. Engineering : B.Tech /B.E (in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering).
3. Automobile Engineering : B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering OR
4. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering.
5. Legal : Graduate in Law.
6. Generalist : Graduate in any stream.

Age Limit: Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 30 years, as on 01.10.2014

1. SC/ ST / PWD / FEMALE : Rs. 50/- (Intimation Charges Only)
2. All Other candidates : Rs. 600/- (Application fee including intimation charges)
